Staff share their top 'stay' tip for autumn
Our Deputy Hotel manager, Adam Manu, shares with us his top stay tip for autumn.
"September is one of the most relaxing times in Barnstaple, the crowds have all gone yet the weather remains favourable with warm temperatures still around, miles of golden sands and plenty of woodland walks to enjoy in and around the area. Personally, a bike ride along the Tarka Trail to Fremington Quay is a favourite of mine, taking in the autumnal colours of orange, red and brown.
After an autumnal ride or walk, retreat and relax in our Terrace Lounge with a warm and delicious Irish Liqueur coffee or Prosecco whilst watching the world go by."
We're sure you have many of your own holiday tips and favourite activities in North Devon when staying with us. Whether you wish to explore the mentioned Tarka Trail, stroll and relax on the beach, or simply watch the world go by, we know you'll have a wonderful time.
