New Rooms, New Faces, New Cocktails

From room refurbishments, our brand new cocktail menu and latest staff promotions, as always, The Imperial have been busy improving our hotel. 

Room refurbishments continue: 
The end of the winter months, sees the completion of two more refurbished rooms, this time Superior room 108 and Single room 100. With both rooms, now including plush new walk-in shower, TV, new carpets and lights and decor, giving both rooms a complete transformation. 

New Season, New Sips: 
The change in season brings the arrival of our brand new summer cocktail menu, packed full of punch, it’s perfectly paired with our sun drenched Terrace after a long day exploring Devon. The man behind the ideas and concoctions is Director Matthew Brend who recommended ‘Pink Clover’, a twist on the classic Clover Club but taken to new heights. 

Growning our own:
As always, promoting from within is what we do best, growing our own with extensive training and mentoring has led to the majority of our staff to be promoted from their original job roles. This time, our beloved Lucy who has been part of our reception team for the past 5 years has joined our management team, along with Head Porter Dave who has taken the leap to our management team too. We’ve welcomed new Sous Chef Geoff who boasts years of culinary experience, where he will work closely alongside fellow Sous Chef Mike and Head Chef Shaun.
